Usually I'm all about text in a corpse, but... the first three panels of this one are so beautifully simple and abstract. And then the text in the fourth panel takes it and throws that away. Trust nobody, indeed. Tomthemod, you're awesome and I hope you'll keep playing. I realize this is only your second corpse. I guess we just all take our lessons from this.
Still, I wish I could see how this would look with a fourth panel that followed the pattern more.

I was supposed to be the fourth panel here. I declined it because I was on vacation and did not have photoshop. I really liked the section too... bummer.

Fun corpse to work on.
I tend to let my pieces get too busy..
so this was an exercise to reel that in a bit.
Over all I like the piece.
Tomthemod, I don't mind the text..but the artifacting and pixelization bugs me a bit.
I'm not sure if you are using Photoshop, but try and save your JPEG out at better compression rate.
Also try to "blend" the previous piece into yours.
I understand some exquisite purists say phoey to that, and I agree that it is your choice..
But it tends to look better if you either completely blend the piece or completely don't.
Just my 2 cents.
Good start though..I hope to see many more corpses to come.

I second the motion on blending. There's plenty of room for artistic disjointedness within one's one slice if desired, after a blend has been achieved.

I worked on the last panel until my time was about to run out and seeing I wasn't going to have time to finish, I released it. What I had done was crap but I did have the blending down. Just goes to show, "It's always something."

i was sent the last 15 pxls of molitorious's part by a drunken CMS, and later told I had been misled. pity. I'd have enjoyed it. I interpreted it right an everything.

I don't think any of the transitions are seamless, so i don't see why everyone is giving tomthemod such a hard time. I like the corspe though... it gets more complicated from the top to the bottom.

i'd go so far as to say that (even though no one player actually failed) this piece fails. And eh, it can happen, not every corpse is going to be a masterpiece, and that's part of the fun.
