An Exquisite Corpse

This one turned out interesting. It was tricky doing the bottom parts of the faces; seems to have worked though. I really like your bulbiness and vines meeplecheese.

Once again, I am somewhat disappointed by the follow through of what I left for the next Corpskateer to work on. I usually try to leave some strong lines or clues or something, and as usual, instead of trying to work them into the next slice, they are merely stretched or blurred out. Leaving the next player to do whatever they please, instead of "going with the subconscious flow."

Hmmm, actually, looking back now, I haven't fallen victim to this as much as I thought.

But is still hurts my tender side .

Super zipper to forearm transition!

jakedrews at August 27, 2007 11:22 AM

This is an awesome, awesome corpse. I guess we can add zippers to the elements that transfer really well from one slice to the next.

dagfooyo at August 27, 2007 12:57 PM

Is this a not-so-subtle suggestion for one or both of those shown to zip it?

Nice corpse. I love the onion tie.

same zipper...

I loves it! The Zipper forearms RULE. Onion Tie is king of all ties and I think it's funny that the last piece somehow tied back in with the first piece. Quite amazing! Great piece!

BudhaCronX at August 27, 2007 2:18 PM

How did you find that benny? You're absolutely right.

Fiddler at August 27, 2007 7:16 PM

I didn't find it. That guy is on my DevArt watch list, and submitted that image on the same day that this corpse was posted. I came from his to this and did a double take.

benny at August 28, 2007 8:22 AM

Wow, what are the odds? I wonder what the source of the original zipper is? Some Calvin Kline ad?

Fiddler at August 28, 2007 9:40 AM

they caught on that they were plant stems and added leaves ... there's just like a hint of a seam yeah, plus it matches the firey $ color up there. but overall, kinda has that root of all evil aroma at the bottom too meep and ss?

who's "ravishing jane"?

patchwyrk at August 28, 2007 11:04 AM

I am ravishing jane... any questions?

Ravishing Jane at August 28, 2007 1:55 PM

type "zipper close up" in google images and you'll see the same zipper in five of the top hits. After looking at a ton of them and even taking a couple of photos myself, this one looked like the best one. (There's a real nice stock photo too, but I wasn't about to pay for it.)

Crazy coincidence with the deviantart guy. He even went for a little blue sky in the open zipper too. I'd like to think this is the uplifting part of my slice, but I guess it depends on whether you see the zipper as opening or closing.

Ravishing Jane: kickass transition. I knew I was leaving a hard bottom 15 pixels, but glad you found enough to work with. Looks like you even knew it was George.

I too am a fan of the onion tie. As that was the style at the time.
