It seems neither the corpse nor its title ended up being particularly coherent.
While I definitely feel I contributed a significant part of the fault in this mish-mash, I also think it's a very good example of bad EC luck of the draw -- four Corpsers rolling snake-eyes.
Jakedrews, however, deserves special recognition for creating such a great continuation from the nonsense I handed off to him.
Oh well. For me, a valuable experience, at least.

cool. im on 600 and 800. I think you did fine, Freddy. The collective unconscious just didnt favour this one.
