What I can see from the thumnail is spectacular... Can't see a thing on this page.

Same here Mudhooks. I was really excited when I saw the thumbnail. Hello? CMS are you drinking again?

Fiddler at July 19, 2007 9:36 AM

If there was ever one I really wanted to see the large version of!

Jim at July 19, 2007 10:27 AM

I will email Phineas and let him know. I wasn't sure if it was just me or not. My office computer is sort of picky as to what it will allow and when....

Mudhooks at July 19, 2007 1:37 PM

Something happened to the file when I was uploading it. Got mugged or something. Anyway, fixed now.

Phineas at July 19, 2007 1:45 PM

I can see it now

a neon devil breath at July 19, 2007 1:53 PM

That was fast!

Mudhooks at July 19, 2007 1:59 PM

Instant favorite.

Jim at July 19, 2007 2:01 PM

Yeah, this is just as good as it looked in minature. Better actually; I can see the details and Wow!

Fiddler at July 19, 2007 3:46 PM

Wow, that looks awesome!

I almost didn't submit this piece; kept tweaking it all week, never really satisfied, and when the use-it-or-lose-it email came in it was a close call whether I'd send in what I had or just let someone else take a shot at it.

I'm totally kicking myself now for not realizing that was a giraffe. Especially since I was thinking of it as "that sort of giraffe-y texture".

Daniel at July 20, 2007 8:51 AM

Daniel, yours is my favorite slice. I absolutely love what you did with the giraffe texture. Negative space becomes positive three-dimensional space. That's some of the stuff that is the corner-stone of corpsing. And then you serendipitously throw in a port hole below the giraffe's head (not knowing it's there) giving the whole thing a feeling of Noah's ark (I'm not christian but the symbology is iconic).

Fiddler at July 20, 2007 8:58 AM

One of the best. Good job corpsers.

Sein und Zeit at July 20, 2007 3:36 PM
