This is the sort of corpse that keeps me coming back to the site. Everything fits perfectly, from the title on down... this looks like a portrait of one of the new gods in American Gods.

I like Daniel's idea of it being an American god. It does somehow tie it all together. With the top being some sort of Mount Olympus moving down to this transgendered God then to down to some version of Haedies.

Oooh, you're in for some fun -- I think it's among his best work (Sandman aside, of course). One of those worlds that seems more real than the real world for a while after you read it...

ok Question do you guys and gals see the tendrils of purple and red on the right bottom to the left of the armpit of the naked lady in my portion.
I've seen it on two computers now I see it but just barely but on the other computer it was bright enough to be a definite element.
I'm just wondering which tends to hold more true? because it doesn't matter if I meant for it to be one way and you see it another.

Loving your slice, Whatnow88. My LCD screen at work shows very little detail in shadows and highlights, but on my puter at home i can see it all.
