I guess the streak had to end sometime. Too bad it happened on my watch :(

I don't know, aside from the (very slightly apparent) seams, I like this one.

Yeah, this one actually rocks! There's great continuity of theme and color palette - and the color palette contributes to the theme.

It's like a very deep slumber with some mildly disturbing dreams.

I really didn't mean anything against the other contributions. I just felt I had dropped the ball by completely missing the water texture and theme.

Looking a little more closely now, it's kind of weird how we have dreaming women in the first two panels, and a blank face in the last panel.

Fiddler at June 21, 2007 10:47 AM

The change between yours and the first panels looks like surf on sand, to me. The fetal-position woman looks as though she is buried in sand like a seed.

The sand actually looks exactly the same colour as this thing that was given me by the family I babysat for during high school. It had black, aqua, light blue and white sand of different weights sandwiched between two oval pieces of Plexiglas. When you flipped it over, the sand would form patterns. I loved that thing. I think it was called a "magic mirror", though it wasn't a mirror.

Oh dear. After all my seam complaining, I am guilty. It looked better on the other monitor... sorry guys.

I do like everyone else's work on this one though. Good job guys.

Nothing wrong with your seam Shae. Mine is much more obvious.
