I like it but I am getting a bit freaked out by the teeth.... again. Disembodied teeth and clowns freak me out.

I love the teeth. in dreams when you see teeth or have teeth falling out or crumbling... These dreams may stem from a fear of your sexual impotence or the consequences of getting old.

Who the heck is talking about teeth for %^$#^'s sake. The feminine form is so nicely celebrated here. Even the grrr at the bottom left looks like she'd like to bite in all the right places.

Yeah... what teeth?

Shae at April 10, 2007 8:52 PM

i love the ladies.

Fiddler, had I know that someone would make a comment like that, I would never have included her picture in my slide. She is like a sister to me.

I love this from top to bottom. It flows, it stays in tune with each others placements, colors and topic. What more can you ask for? It is a beauty.

Now, Robert, sisters like to bite, too. I'm sure he didn't mean she'd bite YOU.

I like how the mouths/teeth turned out. Somehow, it goes with the meat grinder at the top.

A neon devil breath, yours ROCKS.

The teeth in the bottom slice... They freak me out... when they are... well... like that. They freak me out. For some reason there have been rather a lot of teeth in recent Corpses. I didn't say I didn't LIKE the Corpse, just that the teeth freak me out... which they do.

One can't help having a gut reaction to a particular element. In your case(s) it is the female form which, being a woman, doesn't necessarily have the same impact on me as it does for males. For me it was the teeth.

As for "a fear of your sexual impotence or the consequences of getting old". It is more likely my pathological fear of dentists after having been the patient of the Dr. No of dentists as a child, Dr. Schultz, a children's dentist who hated children.

anyone watch seinfeld? "what's the difference between a dentist and a sadist? sadists have newer magazines."
[and i hate that ive become the girl who does this, but mudhooks: your appreciation (or lack thereof) of the female form is not because of your gender...]

benny at April 15, 2007 2:01 PM

If spent many years drawing figures of all sorts not to greatly appreciate female bodies. It just has a different impact on me. For instance, I didn't ponder the appeal of the lady at the bottom biting me "in all the right places". I DID, however, wince at the thought of the disembodied dentures biting me.
