Wow! Super Cool. I love every slice!

It's great, even though the teeth in slice two are a bit creepy...

I love how the red stuff coalesces in NirvanaBlues's and odefinierad's panels.
This is really pretty good. The only thing that would bother anyone, I think, is the funky style and color scheme transformation from the top slice to the rest, which is one of those shrug, "what can you do," kind of things. Great job you four.

very subtle..love the nasty teeth

This one became somewhat Picassan near the end there - cool!

This is a moody, interesting corpse. I don't agree with Freddy's above statement:
"The only thing that would bother anyone, I think, is the funky style and color scheme transformation from the top slice to the rest, which is one of those shrug, "what can you do," kind of things."

Please, be serious. Funky? I think Patchwyrks title and piece were so well blended and the colors and style are elegant! How about explaining that above statement a little clearer.
This is a nice change in our usual color schemes and I think top to bottom it rocks.
Taj at March 27, 2007 10:17 AM
i think the different coloring is what attracts me to it.

... I was being serious.
I also think PatchWyrk did a great job. I'm saying the color scheme and style changed noticeably between the top panel and the rest, which is nobody's fault. Total coherence is the fortuitous exception, not what is expected.
Taj, if our discussion has caused you to harbor animosity toward me ... well, you're not doing a very good job of hiding it. I hold no grudge against you, but clearly the sentiment isn't mutual. So, can we please settle this in a way that doesn't involve one of us sniping at the other in message boards throughout the site? Or can you not handle that kind of maturity? I was willing to push our disagreements aside and continue to give you the benefit of the doubt, but after your absurd display of bitterness above, I can see that you won't be satisfied with such an outcome.
Join me in the forum, please.

To Freddy
On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God, Freddy and my country, to help other people at all times and to keep myself physically fit, mentally sound and morally willing to push our disagreements aside.
Puhleeease, don't make me go to the FORUM!!!I'll be good, I promise to be good, I'll never make Freddy's blood pressure rise, I'll never sass an ass, I will look up words like 'vitriol' and write "I will not be vitriol " 100 x's on the board
(I had to look it up so you are teaching me new words, too.)
vitriol = arrogant
Freddy = too uptight
Taj = playing
This squabble = over

I love the mesh of styles in this corpse, which frankly don't even strike me as being all that different from each other.
If this corpse is unsuccessful, I'm hard pressed to understand why. To me, it looks fabulous, is seamless, and the styles are perfectly compatible. Patchwyrk's beginning is perfectly creepy (in a good way). I like Benni's sparseness and introduction of the nice graphic leaf. And Nirvana and Odiferand appear to have been operating on the same very cool wavelength.
I don't really imagine this corpse bothering "anyone," though I'm unclear on whether it actually bothers someone or if that was merely a strange prediction.

Yah um I went a bit deep with all my layerings, and I gotta admit its becoming a fetish. It was insane and I couldnt help it. Obsessive compulsive layering disorder...I tried to at the bottom tho make it so that it was simpler and able to merge with the next player, and left mosta my crazy layers in the background. If what I gave was hard to follow, I apologise. Is there a support group? Or do you think I'll be alright? I'm glad some of you liked it. I'm particularly diggin the red balls and the congloberation at the bottom. Does it maybe tie in with the siamese me heads ontop. It looks like two people that are connected there in front of the wedgie guy. K I'm gonna go brush my teeth now.
PatchWyrk at March 28, 2007 10:28 PM
sweet and tangy thru and thru :D i REALLY dig this one... there's a lot to see in it that's very subtle... the colors, the transitions, the styles.. beautifully done all of you... it's refreshing to see a corpse that flows so well as that it could've been done by a single artist *claps
