haha! i lyk the nazi reference and the malcom x reference. they are almost complete opposites. lol.

This was fun and I love how Miroje finished Malcom. Her other details are marvelous and blend so well with mine.Is that MrRumsfeld in the top hat? Wouldn't that be apropos It would make a nice 2-panel square.
Sorry, I am 78 and any references, even jokingly to WWII with its own particular style of fascism gives me the creeps. I suppose many Baby Boomers feel the same way about Malcolm X, but he did reverse his world view. I agree with Mouse. Very astute observation.
The final panel, Tavia27, is my favorite. What a beauty. I think it is well designed and planned and could stand alone as great art.

I agree Ben. Even though it is 'art' I can't stand to see nazi stuff, especially Caspar giving the 'seik heil' salute. shudder.... Have you ever seen the last page in Mad Magazine? You fold and the part you don't want to see disappears forming a new picture.
I know absolutely nothing about Malcolm X but I love Malcom in the Middle. Weird combo, Ben. Miroje and Tavia's panels ROCK.

Ben: Rumsfeld, yes. that would have been a good choice, but it wasn't mine.
It's actually actor Christopher Lloyd in his portrayal of Judge Doom from Who Framed Roger Rabbit? A cartoon who hates his kind, who dresses and passes as human, and seeks out the genocide of all cartoons.
Perhaps they're not so far off.
Agreed with all on Tavia27's close. The finishing panel is beautiful!

Caspar? A Skinhead? Please, NO. say it isn't true.
IMHO when doing a collaboration where 3 other artists put their best into a piece, and then the 4th one comes along and (not 4th panel, that is so cool)...
uses it as an opportunity to do an individual statement, joke, or whatever, I can't read German so all I get is the visual gut reaction of the so-apparent-yet-hidden Nazi halo 'round Caspars head. and the 'salute'. It isn't funny, it isn't artistically pleasing, or show any effort on the part of the artist except just to do a little mind screwing with us. That is fine if you are doing an individual piece. If this was one I worked on I'd be annoyed. I protest most censorship of art, but in corpsing with others, I compare it to cigarette smoking. If you want to do it, fine, just don't do it in my living room. One stinky panel makes the others smell funny, even if they started out sweet.

to Miroje: You said "It's actually actor Christopher Lloyd in his portrayal of Judge Doom from Who Framed Roger Rabbit? A cartoon who hates his kind, who dresses and passes as human, and seeks out the genocide of all cartoons.
Perhaps they're not so far off."
LOLOLOLOLOL . Good one! You go Girl, or Boy, or Being. whatever!
...and Mikalon, Honey, don't take the above post I wrote personal. I didn't mean to imply you're a skinhead, or pro-bad guys.

i cant stop laughing! that pathetic malcolm! There really is a problem with his middle!
