As a Corpse Virgin, I was really panicked once I had uploaded it that my section was way, way wrong! I was sure that the first strip was a black and white Batman cartoon and was sweating about mine not matching! There is a bit of a gaffe on my part on the right, leaving a bit of a seam but otherwise, it is as though it is one whole.
Of course, the next two are really completely different but go completely together.
HOWEVER! I was looking at it and realized that it looks as though the scrubbers are either scubbing the bottom part away or the top part.... In a way, it makes complete and perfect sense!

Mudhooks, your slice looks great! Love the top two panels.
As for number 3, this may be the first time I've wanted to call FP on a slice without a seam.

Scrubbing bubbles? What the? I feel soiled. I'm with you Shae.

i'm with shae & damsel. there may not be a seam, but it doesn't really blend, does it? too bad.

I like the fact that DMC used the top of his slice to mirror the "clue" section of mine. It sort of looks like a mountain lake or something.
I think it looks fine, myself. Sort of as though the Dadaesque creatures are directing the scrubbers to ash away the bits above. Like the city washing away the hard work of pavement artists.

No offense, but FP my ass... while I'm the first to admit that maybe this wasn't my finest work, I didn't exactly just plop the thing in out of a magazine or something... I actually did put SOME time in. Perhaps if the strip I recieved had some more definition I would have been more inspired? I'm not trying to take a shot at the newbie, but my slice looked like mold, so that's what I went with... all I saw was green. Plenty of corpses have a change-up in them and still "work" fine. But, I've been known to be a rather harsh critic myself in the past so I guess if I can dish it out I shoud be able to take my licks. All criticisms + and - are appreciated. hopefully the other 3 corpses I have in the works will get better reviews.

I would also like to add that mudhooks' section is a DAMN fine first effort... better than my first

Merci, DMC!
And... as I say, I like it!

You thought it was mold? Well, that makes sense.
The real problem, if that is what you want to call it, is not any individual corpser here but we simply were not in harmony. I love it when all participants get into the same or similiar groove and the whole corpse flows but it really doesn't happen that often. Just had my hopes up too high, I guess. All did a fine job with your individual slices. As a two part corpse it works great. Maybe next time...
