Nice. This is the best one I've seen in some time.
Very strange, very colorful, nice artwork. Good job all.

really? the seams bug me.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I like a bit of seam showing here and there. I don't think it takes away from the piece as a whole, but it lets my eye rest and know that an artist switch is happening. I also love to see a seamless corpse, knowing how difficult some slices are to do that with.
I do think this is one of the nicest, more interesting of any I've seen in awhile.
Love the rainbows, Orca, the world, the yellow house is great, really sets a mood. The trippy change to a patchwork quilt plan for Baby Blocks in red warms and highlights that side of the moody panel, the dolumn construct continues to bring everyone and everything, even Mr.Willy, Westward, to America....fun little story from this in my head on a nice rainy morning. Great Work All.

I actually dislike seams very much, but the one here is pretty minor (one small one at the top left of slice 2).
More importantly, there are other things equally as bad as seams, in my humble opinion. I dislike cop-out panels made completely of smudges or cut-and-pastes, I dislike excessive collagy busy panels made of nothing but stolen photos, etc. Just my personal opinion. And sometimes corpses just come out bleah for no apparent reason. That's happened a few times recently.
This one, on the other hand, has a lot going for it. It has a lot of color and depth and sparkle, and everyone bothered to create something original rather than just running away with the clone tool.

I like it. It is very seamy though isn't it? I'll try harder to get past that next time.
But I think I like it for reasons that are different from the reasons I've liked other corpses. This corspe shows a lot of artistic commitment by each player to create something new and interesting.
MY goal now, is to take the skills I've picked up in this corpse and also learn to blend well, without losing that.

"I dislike cop-out panels made completely of smudges or cut-and-pastes, I dislike excessive collagy busy panels made of nothing but stolen photos, etc."
Couldn't agree more!
But I see none of those things in this one and that's why I like it!
The seam that is there is a real life one - we have those if you look carefully, usually where water, or glass is involved.
unapologetic, Nice start, although photos are always hard to follow, it's nice to see a blend between reality and the drawing world.
tulibo, I think you did a grand job, and I love your cubes.
hamishofangus, There is nothing wrong with your seam! Stop searching for compliments ;) There is a lot to look at in your piece, but it all fits together nicely.
and PatchWyrk I love the way the rainbow melts over the world, very clever. And the hand drawn orca is lovely too.

!! Wasn't fishing for compliments :-P It's dead obvious where the change happens especially at either side.
I own the rights to all these photos, are people worried about that? They're either family travel shots or purchased at iStockPhoto.com

Sorry if I was misunderstood. I don't think THIS collage exhibits the collagy-stolen-photo character I spoke of. And personally I don't worry about copyrights, I just prefer originality. This one has a lot of originality!
Hamish, your slice doesn't have any seams and it looks great. Only tubilo's has a hint of a seam, and not one worth worrying about.
