Queen Ant is leading the rebellion. This one turned out exceptional. Great job fellow corpsers!

Wow. Really cool. Looks like wallpaper - no I mean on my wall, silly, not computer screen wallpaper. I want this in my dining room.

Nice! Flows brilliantly.
What's with all of the cockroaches all of a sudden? I think EC needs some insectacide!
Quackling at August 31, 2006 8:47 AM
Great job at the bottom, jakedrews, making it have a floor!
Carrie at August 31, 2006 9:24 AM
I'm really impressed with this one as a whole, not to mention that the bottom panel made me chuckle.
therealbenni at August 31, 2006 9:37 AM
WOW. This one rocks. And yes, jakedrew's floor is just the thing. Really super cool, guys.
Shae at August 31, 2006 1:14 PM
I DON'T THINK YOU GUYS UNDERSTAND HOW FABULOUS THIS IS. THIS IS THE EPITOME OF CORPSING. ALL OTHER CORPSES CAN GO AND DIE.
moonroof at August 31, 2006 1:37 PM
WHAT MOONROOF SAID.
bravo.

Excellent. Thank you, Carrie, damselfly, and Ann for the super collaboration!
All I attempted was to sneak a five-word title past Phineas...
Most intriguing, however, is that Ann breached the grayscale foreground protocol by adding a hint of light blue and reddish hues - both somehow exclusively reappearing in panel four.
jakedrews at August 31, 2006 9:10 PM
lol @ jake, I didn't understand the significance of the 2+ until I saw the missing valence electrons being stolen by the silhouettes. This is a really, really good corpse folks. Seamless and rich.
hamishofangus at August 31, 2006 10:12 PM
Well, you did it Jake "The Iron Lyre Bell Ion"!
sher at September 1, 2006 5:04 AM
The subtle shading of the r in iron gave it away. Now I have to figure out the ratios.
sher at September 1, 2006 5:12 AM
Sweet.
Sein und Zeit at September 1, 2006 7:30 AM
Oh, now I get it, "their only rebellion" has a 5 letter word, 4 letter word, and 9 letter word, whereas "the iron lyre bell ion" has a 3 letter word...... cute
sher at September 1, 2006 7:32 AM
You got it!
jakedrews at September 1, 2006 3:19 PM
I still don't get it, but I just woke up and need caffeeeeine. Broke my last pair of glasses, again. BUT.....
even blurry.....
This is a BEAUTY! As soon as I went to EC home page it popped out It looks seamless and your minds really meshed on this one! I love the bug theme throughout. Was it planned? It is amazing the coincidences, the basket and vase bring the eyes to the center, the bold, big ant brings it back up, then down, down to all the Heavy Metal, ending with teeny tiny people (I'll see what they are doing tomorrow) This little activity on the stage of the piece makes the scale of it fun.
It looks like a great BIG poster or stage backdrop for an anthropoloy presentation. I want the poster!
Great work everyone, even the poem had its unity, too.
I love the colors and the play of shades and tones of the black, white, gray
