It's photoshop effects on parade! This one is unique in that every slice is distinctly visible as a slice, yet it works as a whole. I like it.
The overall feel makes me think of Akira Kuresawa for some reason. Perhaps the muted colors and dreamlike quality.

I sort of wish I had done two things. First, I wish I had put more thought into my section of the title, and second I wish I had used some stronger imagery to end with. I feel like the base isn't very strong... Oh well, you live and learn. This is my first corpse that's been published to the site so I guess it's not such a bad first effort :)

Actually, Sunshine, I think it's not too bad.
The 'fluidity' of your piece seems to reflect something of the 'theme' from kvasir's piece.
Interesting how not knowing works. :)
It is a powerful enough corpse anyway - your not using 'stronger imagery', I think, contributes a nice balance overall.
I hope, at least, you might get to like it more.. as time goes by.
