Has to be one of the best ever. You guys are dialed in!

FogBaron at May 17, 2006 7:42 AM

Very smooth

Wild........ at May 17, 2006 7:47 AM

You guys. That title!

The corpse is super rad as well. Love.

velocity girl at May 17, 2006 7:57 AM

Excellent!

Some cool stuff: hell at the top, god at the bottom; the red color reappearing in the last panel to tie it back together; the illusion of depth with each successive panel appearing closer to the viewer. Fantastic.

Jim at May 17, 2006 9:01 AM

Fantastic job, everybody! There is such good material here that I almost forgot to notice the seamlessness. From title to sign, this corpse really ties together.

It looks like variously-textured bricks pave the poolside pathway . . . but maybe they are also good intentions. Hahaha

jakedrews at May 17, 2006 9:31 AM

wow! super easy on the eyes. the depth in this one is spectacular. I love it!

mattb at May 17, 2006 10:16 AM

Gobsmacking - love the continuation of the wall! It is so well done!

slinkachu at May 17, 2006 12:12 PM

Unbelievable! I love the Escher-esque depth illusions. Amazing corpse!

Ann at May 17, 2006 12:16 PM

Gorgeous! Kudos to all 4 of you!

Shae at May 17, 2006 1:36 PM

Also, the "Beware of God" sign looks like it refers to the lady. She certainly looks majestic and important back there. Granted, they are different genders at closer glance, but maybe it's a generic sign for all Gods.

Shae at May 17, 2006 1:39 PM

I've used that sign before in other collaborations, like on the Gridcosm and in photoshop tennis. It's a favorite token piece of mine. How it fits into this piece tho pleases me to no end.
I don't think I can say anything that hasn't already been said. This community is awesome. I love making art with you guys.

My new favorite! =)

Crucibelle at May 17, 2006 2:38 PM

Beautiful!
The way the red accents pop up in the 4th panel, echoing the first, looks designed!
I love this one! Well done, you 4.

AndyFromJava at May 17, 2006 5:45 PM

well thats pretty SCHWEET. but im wondering, moonroof, is the sign supposed to be a religious thing? im sorta.. satanic.. so im not exactly too fond of the big G in da attic. lol, just wondering

Erishkigal at May 17, 2006 8:15 PM

Wow! Awesome.

MetalEar at May 18, 2006 1:28 AM

Beautiful, amazing, marvelous spectacular! In most corpses you just hope the panels will hang together enough to look good. In this corpse, the most amazing parts are where the panels overlap.

dagfooyo at May 18, 2006 7:42 AM

Erishkigal -- in answer to your question, it's a lot of things. Originally it was just a play on the 'beware of dog' sign, a simple inversion there makes quite an interesting statement. I don't think I was trying to make any particular statement other then just being generally irreverent, which is something I'm quite fond of. I think religion is a very dangerous concept, and I think people shold be appropriately warned.

Hey kids, stay out of the baptism pool without a lifeguard on duty...

ryan noel at May 18, 2006 8:00 PM

I like the irrational perspective in this one. The bricks in the wall appear to be in one vertical plane, while the pool edge recedes into the middle distance, and the top of the wall extends to the background. Kind of Escher-esque.

Also, the mixed types of bricks makes me think of an old wall that has been repaired recently. The little demon at the top is perfectly resolved in the "Beware of God" signat the bottom.
