Animaltastic! And a nice oriental feel to all the pieces too. I love it when themes run through all the sections. Well done guys!

Awesome. Fun, creepy, serene and meditative (and more) in wonderfully aesthetic balance. A corpse Yin Yang, with pets! Top knotch work by top knotch players. Really great.

Dogs, cats, birds, & fish, oh, my! Send this off to Animal Planet immediately!

And who knew DB had a pet cat?
Cicada at April 20, 2006 10:25 AM
Oooooo! Very cool! I love that stark-red tenticle coming out of the fireplace! And the birds from the first panel seem to be turning into similar cephalopodic creatures. Great use of your signature bp! The last two slices seem to help bring some peace back after all the tension in the first two panels. Nice work everybody!
(Is "cephalopodic" a real word? Or how about "octopodic." Maybe "octopoid?" "Cephalopodicoidish?")

A Japanesse acid trip?
I like 'octopoid'.
I love this corpse. The colors, the syncs, and the mixed styles just work. I love it when each one of the panels are so beautiful that they could stand alone, but the 'whole' is greater than the parts.
The title-poem is kinda neat too, if you say it a few times.

Hah! I forgot about this slice and as I was making the corpse rounds I thought, "hey that looks familiar"...doh!
Some interesting synchronicities...the color bars at the bottom echo the top, and there is an uncanny symmetry throughout.
MetalEar I REALLY can't tell where yours begins/mine ends!
LOVE that red tentacle.
Nice, nice very nice.

Red tentacle... is that Rene magritte's living room?
then that unholy pet religion in billporter's bit - pretty interesting and ahhhhh
aberling takes us on a cruise through the placid cherry blossom waters of Nippon - which metalear continues... nice subaquatic fighting fish tat?
Another orderly, symmetrical corpse.
Does anyone know what the ideograms say?

I just noticed the butterfly-to-lotus-blossom conversion. Sweet.
FogBaron at April 22, 2006 12:23 AM
I like the balance of parrot and turkey a lot, too.
Also? You guys kill at titles.
