Believe it or don't, this is the 400th Corpse off the CMS production line.

Love the way the first two panels integrate! really nice! the second two work well together too, shame both sides don't seem to meet up. Still, all very pretty :)
slinkachu at April 19, 2006 6:28 AM
I like this one a lot.
FogBaron at April 19, 2006 7:21 AM
I love this corpse! It has so much energy.
Majore: your panel reminds me of cups as in tarot cards. We're gonna do some on the hd site. I think your arched (upsidedown cups)really reflect the arched doorway in the upper panels.
Everyone:this has so much energy! I think you really did have a meeting of minds on the astral plane. The circular, arched theme flows and lots of creativity symbols. Do you see all the arches on the past corpses seen as a whole on the home page? I love doors! And arched doors are my favorite. The transition from blue jeans, door and arm with knife is really good! The first panel is bursting with such energy I can feel it through the screen!
:The Pinko Lillies With Red Paint.
Primordial Soup In False Abundance.:
Even the titles flowed, like a too-many-syllables haiku.
Nice work spott, Poncho Man, Janette and Miroje.
I hope I get to play soon, too. hint. hint.

Congratulations! What a wonderful site, what a great idea, and what a good job you've done, Phineas.
Thank you and looking forward to at least 4000 more.

Two milestones: 400th. Corpse...and my first!
Thanks for the game, let's play again soon!
Janette at April 19, 2006 7:50 AM
Welcome Janette and spott! Well done on your first corpse.
Happy 400th everybody! May Phineas continue taking the medication necessary to host another 400. (Chocolate chip cookies work for me...)
I have to admit, Janette, that I wondered if you would take the knife-arm and the splattered...uh..."paint"...and give us a glimpse into some horrific nightmare. But now, I can't help to think how those defenseless gradated circles are about to meet their end and be popped by knife-arm! Oh the humanity!
Poncho Man at April 19, 2006 10:15 AM
Ohh, I love the bottom panel! The shapes and colours there remind me of blown-glass Egyptian perfume bottles - gorgeous! =)
Crucibelle at April 19, 2006 11:33 AM
This is gorgeous! Kudos to all four players.

There is a disembodied, knife wielding hand prowling about the Exquisite Corpses. It was last seen just over a month ago, masquerading as a thumb on a clear blue day near a ring-tone obsessed frog-headed Superman (likely mutated by red kryptonite). Some one type up a story on this dangerous appendage for the next edition of "The Caution".
Neat corpse. It's like surrealists and abstract expressionists at work on a tripped out episode of "Trading Spaces". Player two and player four have really clever transitions. Those glass chalice/lamps are cool.

400 chunks of visual and mental freedom-
THANK YOU Phineas!
This is a great place you have nurtured here.
No. 400 is a very pretty corpse. Good spott!
Ironic how spotty slice three is- so wafty and out of focus and peaceful ( watch out, dream spotties, that (*^% renovator upstairs has a knife!) Cool, Janette.
Miroje's floating ornate, playful elegant completion..
ahhhh that's a good corpse.
Well done.

Congrats spott and Janette on your first corpses; well done!
spott, your piece is so interesting color and texture wise, I'm curios how you achieved those textures.
Poncho Man, your continuation is flawless.
Janette, I love the continuation of the arm into the rose & white vapor.
And Miroje, ending it all so mysteriously....
Phineas, THANK YOU for your hard work in developing and maintaining our playground!

Hi all,
Actually, Poncho Man...my strip didn't have the knife, just the 'arm' extension, which didn't look like an arm at all! So...imagine my surprise!
I hope to get better at my 'seamless' extending... the top two panels are very impressive!
Janette at April 20, 2006 4:34 PM
Nice!
Thanks for the welcome.
aberling-the texture is from scanned in pages overlayed on photos.
glad it worked out, after i submitted it i looked back on other corpses and realized that i was probably handing over quite a bit of work to the next corpser. So, great job Poncho Man! same goes to Janette and Miroje. (=
