I don't think I've ever seen a corpse more coherent, theme-wise, seam-wise, or otherwise. Perfection.

And the title is great, too. I love this corpse.

velocity girl at April 6, 2006 7:17 AM

Very nicely done. Those super-imposed rectangles throughout are pretty amazing.

FogBaron at April 6, 2006 7:50 AM

Wow, this is gorgeous. That title is amazing...best grammar yet, and makes sense too.

Ann at April 6, 2006 8:09 AM

What a Haiku-like title.
Graceful, flowing, perfect colors, and yes, I too agree, seamless! It's hard to realize this isn't one artist. Thank You Zoinkers, thekeyofsee (cool name),Shae and aberling.

FierceGrace at April 6, 2006 8:10 AM

The serendipity of those white blocks just blows me away. I almost want to say - impossible!

Jim at April 6, 2006 8:12 AM

YOu are all AMAZING!!! Everything works here!! FAB!!!

Wild........ at April 6, 2006 8:12 AM

Wow... This is truly amazing... Well done all...

MetalEar at April 6, 2006 8:36 AM

This is incredible! Thanks to my cohorts, who rule!

I was looking forward to this one and it was worth the wait.

And I just want to say that aberling was very tuned-in to make those white squares see-through, because I didn't have that knowledge to pass on.

Shae at April 6, 2006 9:13 AM

oh my!
I truly LIKE this corpse. Damn, podners, we did good! (blush) Honored to share this page with you.

Zoinkers, you set the tone...Shae, thanks for the interesting bits you left me to work with and keyofsee, thanks for the psychic message: I am so glad that I heeded that little voice that urged me to make the white box create a neg of the tree!

The restrained use of color (till my slice) is amazing and the title...wow, WOW. It's embarrassing to gloat but WOW!

aberling at April 6, 2006 10:17 AM

Brilliance.

moonroof at April 6, 2006 10:43 AM

More Wows!
Does anyone see the Rabbit created by the merging of the first two slices? A very handsome rabbit I might add, but it could also be one of those straight horn deerlike creatures I can't think of the name. (gnu, antelope?)

I, too, notice the wonderful psync of the negative tree in the box and the tortoise fossil? As one piece, I'd call it 'The Tortoise and the Hare'. The little white boxes look like surrelistic stepping stones the tort took leading away from the tree.
I love those acorns and vines. I want to pick that green acorn up right off the screen. Nice job!

Dor at April 6, 2006 10:47 AM

Isn't it interesting how when someone points out something like the rabbit shape that afterward you can't not see it. And seeing the rabbit made me realize that that was an eye, the daguerotype eye. Wicked cool corpse, like the end result of leaving a dadaist (only one because this transitions so beautifully) alone with biology text books and a pair of scissors. Great work all.

Cicada at April 6, 2006 11:11 AM

May I point out, Cicada, that your message was at 11:11 and 1111 is that magical WOW number of the Cosmos.

Dor at April 6, 2006 11:31 AM

Yeah, I'm just like that;).

Cicada at April 6, 2006 11:34 AM

hey pretty good! really good! it's great!

Zounds Padang at April 6, 2006 11:50 AM

Lovely. Lovely. Oh, so lovely.

Brilliant work all!

Miroje at April 6, 2006 12:43 PM

holy smokes. the bar has been raised once more. beautifulllll!

mattb at April 6, 2006 1:48 PM

Gorgeous! My favorite corpse, thus far. =)

Crucibelle at April 6, 2006 2:55 PM

The whole corpse is amazing. Somehow, I'm drawn to slice one. I see the eye (hah), but what else is that? It looks like a broken zipper or the boulevard along the Danube in Budapest.

jakedrews at April 6, 2006 8:12 PM

the negative rendering in the two differant panels is impressive. nice work. very nice work, I think everyone can agree.

billporter at April 7, 2006 2:05 AM

Awesome title. This corpse is all kindsa ripe.
It feels like I'm witnessing a generative act (and not just the results).

Jessica at April 7, 2006 5:16 PM

wow. this truly looks like one image! The blending is fantastic! I especially like the two white blocks of negative images.

cloud_eyora at April 7, 2006 10:44 PM

Wow. I can't even think of anything to say... I'm glad to have contributed to this awesome collaboration. aberling, way to listen to your corpse jiminy crickett!

thekeyofsee at April 7, 2006 11:41 PM
