Yay! Dada!

Heh. Looks like the overall message of this corpse is: The world is being held prisoner by the idiots at the top.

You just couldn't resist, could ya, Bill?

murfinator at April 17, 2006 7:31 AM

cool, the purple and red made it al the way thru! So is panel 4 what truly lies beneath society?

cloud_eyora at April 17, 2006 7:38 AM

Dag.....
I think you've got it! This is a very nice corpse. Love the color and the black.

Is it just me, or does this share a theme with the corpse posted just 18hr earlier?

Jessica at April 17, 2006 9:45 AM

cloud_eyora: Uh...I was looking forward to how you would extend mine...and you just made a large black line...oh well. I still like the corpse, but...

The last two panels are really excellant...and they fit well together in a dreamy way. I love all the keys. The right hand side of both Bill and Tavia's panels flow nicely together telling an interesting story. Tavia, your panel is so well planned and pleasing to the eye. Great work, all of you.Oh, I just saw the 'peace' letters on the keys. nice touch.

Aaron- the black line was supposed to be part of the cityscape- but i couldn't get it to work out right I guess. All I could see were lines coming down and I pictured what it would look like from underneath an old covered bridge. It worked on its own, lol!

cloud_eyora at April 17, 2006 10:39 PM

Thanks for pointing out the peace on the keys- I didn't catch those!

cloud_eyora at April 17, 2006 10:41 PM

I like cloud_eyora's continuation of the black-line-on-color-gradient theme, w/it's bonus dimension and stellar spark. The understatement works really well. You could appreciate its contrast with the precedent or, if you want it to be all about the math problem, you might consider the millions and millions of stars - or maybe consider that a dividing line.

bill porter: as always, your panel slays. Fantastic.
Tavia 27 is clearly tapped in. Nice work!

3+3=5 for very small values of 3.

Zounds Padang at April 18, 2006 8:53 AM

I like it. Stupidity and monotony in our cities leads to death, despair, and an imprisoned Earth. The keys of/to peace are all around but not everyone can see them.

tavia27 at April 19, 2006 3:09 AM

I also really liked the idea: "The world is being held prisoner by the idiots at the top."

However, I think I'd extend that to the idiots of the planet. If the sheep weren't following it wouldn't matter who led.
