Like the way the pipes run through the whole picture and the fish being expelled from the volcano (so thats where they come from!) Last two sections are great, muted and minimal.

Beautiful, congrats to all !

totally awesome and one of the best titles I've seen in a long time. is it just me or have titles been pretty darn good lately?

Welcome atommonger; nice composition in your opening panel!

Great work everyone else. Sorry I messed up my transition, turns out i was a little confused on how they all come together.... I did some reading in the forum, it was quite helpful I'm really scared now about the piece I did after this.... Yikes, Oh well... I get it now, honest, and whenever I get my next piece I'll do better.

Tavia27 at March 22, 2006 1:56 PM

Tavia, I had to do a double-look to even see what you were talking about. Your transition is fine, and your slice is really cool!

Strange and cool how well the four styles in this one match so well.

over all this is really good. I'm particularly impressed with the first two panels.

billporter at March 22, 2006 8:57 PM

Great corpse. I love the use of space in Tavia27's panel, and especially the scene in the magnifying glass. What an interesting dream. And I think you'll find with transitions that intent is 9/10ths of the game. Nice work all players.

Cicada at March 22, 2006 9:07 PM

When I look at corpses I tend to flip through the players' other posted corpses to refamiliarize myself with what they do. I have to give a special tip of the hat to therealbenni, someone who really knows how to play this game. You have a spectacular ability to observe and continue with the look and theme of the panel above. Bravo.

"And I think you'll find with transitions that intent is 9/10ths of the game."

Amen! What tends to goof up a corpse is when one hardly tries to smooth the transition.

Welcome atommonger and stunning work.

Another beautiful corpse. I love the color and mood...the "feel" of this one. Excellent title too.

It's interesting that Tavia27 would bring up the seam (of which I suggest worry little if at all). I didn't notice it until it was pointed out and then went up to look for it. Prior to that, I was just taken with the beauty of the corpse.

This corpse gives me a sense of imbalanced fragility. The immense activity on the upper two panels with the more stark and simple feel of the bottom half. Combined with the two descending strands and one very feminine and pensive (or am I just mistaking evil again?) young girl.

It's as if all this beauty and wonder stand only on very fine threads, and the slightest imbalance could have it come toppling down.

Stellar work everyone!

Miroje at March 23, 2006 8:38 AM

Thank you, Cicada!

I would also like to add to those who have said that Tavia27's seam is really not bad at all. I think it's only really visible when one goes looking for it, and it's still not bad at that!
