opium dreams indeed. that is some crazy crap right there! nice work. the only part that doesn't flat out amaze me is the No Hunting. Usually I'm on the side of people who want to use text in corpses. Oh well, I like this.

This looks like some sort of public service message.

"These majestic elk-boulders used to float in glorious herds across the bays of Canada. Now they are nearly extinct, thanks to the efforts of opium-addled pirates. Please, think of the elk. Don't smoke and sail."

Love the elk-boulder!

FogBaron at March 29, 2006 9:47 AM

Maybe it's more rightfully a "cariboulder".

I love coming here and finding a corpse like this waiting in display.

Layers and layers of images to dive into and the more you look, the more you see.

Very well executed, exceptional title, and great flow of color.

Tavia27: Excellent close!

yay!

Wow, I love the sea-sky forming a horizon with the cloud-sea. Nice that the smoke is thick enough for a ship to sail on it! The caribou-boulder is flawless and that's what first drew me in. Funny, I almost always hate to see text in a corpse, but this is tolerable.

Elk boulder... lol! I had no idea what to do with that texture (the elk) that I inherited. It looked like some sort of ancient statuary, to me. The 'boulder' is actually a tree trunk that I painted over, heavily. On my last corpse I gave a horse flippers, now I give an elk a beard! Hee! Anyhow, I'm just glad I was able to finish those letters off correctly.

Great job everyone! =)

This is a total blast. Nice corpsing. I love the water, sky, sky, water and all the characters of the opium dream.

Cicada at March 29, 2006 9:29 PM

Wow, this is my most favorite of the corpses I've done.... Great job everyone.

Tavia27 at March 30, 2006 12:31 AM

No Breeding. How about that one?

billporter at March 30, 2006 1:06 AM

I really like the 'No Hunting'. It works for me on so many levels. Vikings, they were hunters, too. Of course, someone's always hunting down the tokers, but there's more hunter images, Shark, anyway. He's cool tho cause he rather toke than hunt. So, in the begining the statement, and sharky obeys. Nice syncs.
