An Exquisite Corpse

I just wanted to point out that I inherited that seam. I tried to work around it. Maybe I should have incorporated it better. Also this was my first piece that I did all by hand using, that is to say, I didn't use any outside images. Ok, I did use one which doesn't show up well so I might as well not have used it. It is the small white face that is just hanging out there between the "dancers" and the "lion".

I like to have the viewer participate in my panels. I want to suggest an image but in the end I expect the viewer to find his or her own image. I think that is the whole spirit behind the idea of the corpse. Afterall, isn't that what the surrealists were getting at?

Welcome Greenwithme. I love bunnies. I love all corpses with bunnies in them.

It appears more like there was an intentional (partial) frame from the leading panel as opposed to a broken seam. I've seen that particular process work nicely here, and it didn't do that badly on this corpse either.

Beautiful colors Sein und Zeit and really excellent hand work (no doubt the Upstarts will be seeking to recruit you, shortly).

I'll have to come back to this one throughout the day. There's something here, but I can't quite target it yet.

Good job everyone!

Whoah! Check out that 'hypnotic' spiral!
And Welcome to Greenwithme!

I never quite thought of a mesmerized rabbit sitting outside a Pacific[?] style dunny before.

But then, there's probably a lot of things I never thought of before..... but, what would I know about that?

Sein und Zeit:
[Being and Time - is that a reference to Martin Heidegger philosophic writing?]

Dancers?
Lion?
Little 'white face'?...

Anyhow, hand drawn is such fun, I'd recommend it to anyone.

That title sure freaks me out!
Time and being and time being and time, time and again.

Yes to the philosphy of Heidegger. His philosphy and nothing else.

Sweet. This corpse is cool. Nice drawing Sein. That hypnotic wheel is great, and it really works! After looking at this corpse this morning I blacked out for several hours. Hopefully I didn't do anything while in my trance that would warrant an appearance before the Supreme Court. The title is really amazing.

Bonus HDO corpse in Other Corpsing of the forum. Several, in fact.

Actually, if can just... hfff... drag.. hrfff... my eyes away.. hff.. from that spiral a second.

It might rather be a hare!
Check out the long black, tufty ears - almost invisible against the background.

That title worked out fairly nicely.

There is no Supreme Court upon the High Seas.

Fortunate for demented pirates.
