Spectacular transitions! Well done!
jakedrews at March 24, 2006 7:34 AM
Wonderful! Great colors and use of line, seamless, looks like it's all by one artist.

WOW. Amazing work, the transitions especially. I love the house/lips/doorway thing going on at the top left.

Stunning work. Tremendous synchronicity with color and flow. The images transition remarkably well, and there's a tinge of creepy to complete it.
There's usually one or two panels that stand out and are held as the favored, or aesthetically preferred, but in this case? They're all so well done. Each and every one, and then every one combined, is a work of art.
Cheers!

That's one crazy footbath...

I enjoy the fact that the Japanese girl matches up so nicely with the flawless Engrish of the title.
Phineas at March 24, 2006 9:20 AM
Where are the seams?! The corpses recently have been seamless! Love this, especially the way the ant's body becomes the girl's hair. really nice.
slinkachu at March 24, 2006 9:42 AM
oh wow,
wonderful work!
i wanna be wanna be wanna be pretty...eeep! this is amazing.

Oh no, I though the girl was a new incarnation of Bill's DP boy so I looked to see if she had been done by him. So she wasn't but I'm still not sure if she is DP boy's partner in crime. We just might be seeing her from the wrong angle and that white stuff came from somewhere.

That is art! Congrats. I've been waiting lately to see a truly great one. Every panel contributes something cool without detracting from the whole. Love the worried phallus and the sketchy feel and the use of that orange color, love the ants and how the ant's abdomen morphs into the girl's hair. I love how the eyeball threw me off, thinking it was the girl's face, I love how the girl's feet sink into the marshmallow creature, I love that the ant larva is tugging on the girl's skirt, and best of all, I love the broken teeth around the marshmallow guy... WTF?? Very trippy!

lord almighty i hate ants... this has turned out to be quite the twisted little corpse.
very surreal indeed, but i'm happy to see how well this one came together. SEAMLESS YOU GUYS! SEAMLESS! hopefully i'll get to work with you again. ^o^
by the way, stepington... i love the little green creature.

The more I look at it, the smoother it hangs together... gets the brain wandering, which is what a good corpse can do I guess.
The best transitiion is an invisible transition.
Well done stepington, MetalEar and || SARS ||! I get a kick out of how the type nearly flows on. My deepseated love /hate of the Michelin Man also seems to have surfaced.

Hey! Stephen:
I would love to see some of your tiny scraps turning up at Upstarts Hand Drawn Only site.
In fact, the corpse has an almost entirely hand-drawn appearance. Beautiful, sublime all round, guys.

Everyone wants to work with Joan Miro, and now the four of you have.

I've never seen this one before. I just happened to catch it on jakedrews website. I would say this is pretty close to my all-time favorite
