You see, this is what happens when you trip out in your car. You end up three panels above it floating in a most peculiar way.

pity, isn't it? i... i don't really understand what happened here, but... it makes me sad. kind of continued, kind of ignored. feh.

cheers to antijeannie and michelou, though. this was headed toward being a really nice corpse.

even so, i don't completely not like it. it's got a certain something, even with that bottom bit so oddly different. looks nice as a thumbnail at least... :)

if you're in for the ying, you're in for the yang

true, so true... such is life... :)

Oh, I really like this corpse. It reminds me of sketches and the city and teens having fun. Lions are cool, too.

Cool.

unapologetic, I'm going to have to disagree with your position that something to make one sad happened here.

I wouldn't say that the fourth panel doesn't fit. Sure, the background isn't grey, but it at least has the same basic value (in an HSV sense of the word). I think it's just more figure and less ground, relative to the other panels. The extra quantity of "stuff" provides a base that supports the other three panels nicely.

I want a lion hat.

LGM, i know - as you can see above, i've already disagreed with myself on that... i kind of came around. i still think that last panel is a bit jarring, but it's a grower, you know? i like it more every time i come back to it.

yeah, i couldn't believe how stunning the thumbnail was especially . . .

to me it speaks of a war-torn but beautiful eastern land. i love the "trees" on the right, the ying-yang sun rising on the horizon, warming the lush country, . . the whole top section really feels like a grey sky because of the difference of the bottom panel . . . the birds become warplanes and bombs falling especially because of the masked face in the top panel . . . all the imagery combined is powerful . . .
