I really like the title. What's really cool about this one, and I don't think it's that evident at first, is the orange negative space on the right side starts to look like some sort of Seussian/Marge Simpson hybrid character (head and shoulders). The little blue area on the right edge in the 3rd panel looks like an eye. Very good unintentional coincidence considering the Seuss reference in the last panel.
I want a pot like that.

Very nice.

Wow, guys, this is really cool. I was going to do the 2nd or 3rd panel, but had to pass it on because I just didn't have time. I'm glad to see it was in good hands - this is fantastic. I love the colors and the motion.

Very pleasing to look at. I especially like the designs in Ann's part, and the way the nice contrasting blue/orange made it all the way through.

Very nice, indeed. Soothing, somehow.

that fold/tear transition that begins half way down
is outright curious-somewhat profound
it continues to the bottom and is just quite fantastic,
kerschmastic elastic and downright bombastic...

I also like how Fiddler included a "false seam" ... very clever.
Jim at November 8, 2005 12:45 PM
I like the "false seam" too, it gives this corpse dimension. Doesn't the pot look like a flying saucer?
I like this one!

I never thought that Ann could transform my pot into ET. Now that's talent. I agree with Jim re Ann's design work - it's wonderful. Ann, I did notice the hybrid Suessian/Simpsonian character hiding in there too. There are negative space throughout this corpse that keep the eye entertained.

OMG! Breathtaking!

Kind of exotic. I like the travel idea to exotic places.
Nice!

Love it!! Im new here and really excited by the site. Just sent my first section of my first corpse. There is a lovely coherence to this corpse which I think has something to do with the many Dalinian curves. Its wicked.
Droozle at November 14, 2005 2:20 PM
Beautiful transitions. Some of the best seams I've seen. Gives me something to work toward.
And asside from the technical aspects this is simply a cool piece and seems to have loads of appeal.
