oh HELL YEAH.
Now THIS is something to be proud of.

Shae's right, this IS something to be proud of. I love the sense of size the corpse gets from the use of the Eiffel Tower, and the way Joao Martins uses abstraction, as does Shae in her own panel.
Masterful use of crazy little windmill things too, a great corpse all round.

Wow it's a colossal France enslaving the world into an age of 8-bit insanity!

Looks like fallopian tubes too.
Kudos again to all my cohorts on this one.

I'm just now noticing the graveyard fence above the hanging man and the blood red and the creepiness of the snakes & spiders and how everything is so deathly and eerie.
Shae at October 15, 2005 8:48 PM
Beauty.

Is that someone hanging from a noose? This corpse is very well done. I love it!
cloud_eyora at October 16, 2005 8:18 AM
Proud, boastful, and whatever you want to be. All of you certainly earned it.
This corpse is spectacular and I've been returning to view it all weekend long.
Excellent, excellent work!

Awesome. I want this in my belly.

Maybe I just see female reproductive organs everywhere, but those spiders and Eiffel tower look like ovaries, fallopian tubes, and uterus to me.
I like it!
Zabet at October 17, 2005 7:45 AM
Very nice! Great job to all!

I get Serpent arms coming out of the Eiffel tower to enslave the alien captured world. Very wonderful corpse!!

Well… I was away for a while, but getting back was really worth while.
I wasn't sure about my minimal/abstract approach to a single picture of a spider hanging on my grandma's house, but CerysCrow made an amazing job with the transition.
Now I can't wait to get back on track.
Thank you all.

Ooh, and la, and also la.
Love the arachnovaries. And the fence. And the skull invaders. And the pinwheel-o mori. Hot damn, that's a corpse.
Jessica at October 18, 2005 6:12 PM

emjo at October 20, 2005 6:08 PM
