This is exquisite.
If I wanted to go overboard with Freaud and Jung, I would say that there are many symbolic representations of the female and fertility in our collective unconscious today..
rinpoche at August 5, 2005 7:39 AM
Wow... so... 3-dimensional!
Shae at August 5, 2005 8:18 AM
Is it just me or does it look like the last slice needs to be bumped up 15 pixels?
Shae at August 5, 2005 8:19 AM
This is one of the best ever.
(Agree with Shae's last comment.)
FogBaron at August 5, 2005 8:25 AM
Yes, yes. I fixed it. Hey, *you* try putting this stuff together drunk and see how well you do.
Phineas at August 5, 2005 8:34 AM
No thanks. I prefer to do my slices while I'm high.
murfinator at August 5, 2005 8:55 AM
Very cool combo of high and low tech, electric and organics ... nifty all around!
ivan at August 5, 2005 9:17 AM
The colors work very well together. Great continuity.
enclosed at August 5, 2005 9:51 AM
The dimensionality of it is great!
Andrew at August 5, 2005 9:53 AM
Thanks for fixing it, Phineas. It looks awesome.
Shae at August 5, 2005 10:15 AM
Yay! Butterflies!
cloud_eyora at August 5, 2005 11:08 AM
Too right about the Freudian stuff, rinpoche. But I wonder if you spotted the phallic lamp-post?
Patrick Beverley at August 5, 2005 11:42 AM
Speaking of phallic, doesn't the fetus look like s/he's inside the head of a penis?
cloud_eyora at August 5, 2005 2:38 PM
I like how this came out.
jaynedarcy at August 5, 2005 4:50 PM
Way to go all. This turned our really nice. I thought I was dealing with something hand drawn. This one took me on a few false starts before settling on whatever the heck it is I painted there. Even the abrupt color transitions worked remarkably well

hasfurrychildren at August 5, 2005 6:26 PM
ok ok. I can deal with the butterfly in this one.
Bill Porter at August 5, 2005 7:45 PM
Butterfly therapy for Bill. Hooray!
Fiddler at August 5, 2005 7:50 PM
we should all be careful to include butterflies in all of our panels just for Bill Porter, because he's growing quite fond of butterflies.
well, that's what i heard via the grapevine...
hasfurrychildren at August 5, 2005 10:01 PM
How about this? We promise to lay off the butterflies if Bill promises to do *anything* without that pooping kid in it? Sounds fair to me.
Phineas at August 6, 2005 9:57 AM
I'll second that Phineas. Your comment actually made me go back and review his corpses. Bill you have quite a theme going there. At least it's not offensive like butterflies are.
Fiddler at August 6, 2005 11:10 AM
Hey, lay off the pooping kid!
Pooping Kid at August 7, 2005 11:44 AM
Could it be ... a man giving birth?
NOOOO! The tables have turned! Men have to do the childbirth thing now!?!
Get the emergency supplies, we're running away to Alabama!
