Gorgeous! I heartily approve!

What fun!!! Love the title! Love the way the oranges and blues got carried out.
Wild at July 26, 2005 7:31 AM
i love how the alice in wonderland theme carried through the first two slices, especially in the title!

Beauty!
(Is that 3 butterfly corpses in a row? What happened to the eyeballs and skulls??
FogBaron at July 26, 2005 8:31 AM
I wish the "split down the middle" theme had made it all the way through, but still, this is a great corpse.
Zabet at July 26, 2005 8:49 AM
I think this is the infamous corpse 114, right? The one that took forever to finish?
enlcosed at July 26, 2005 9:40 AM
Wow. My first corpse. I am so happy. Yay!
cloud_eyora at July 26, 2005 9:44 AM
I didn't blend the glass too well, but the pebbles came out better. Cabbages and kings... I thought that looked familiar... too bad I didn't catch on...
cloud_eyora at July 26, 2005 10:16 AM
Ok, I find it hard to accept that there wasn't some sort of collusion in those first 2 panels. There is no way that Shelly just happened to pick up the Alice theme from what she got from Fiddler. There is absolutely no clue there for her.
Anyway, it is a very nice corpse. Well done all.

and more butterflies.
Bill Porter at July 26, 2005 11:39 AM
the next butterfly I see I'm going to smash it.
Bill Porter at July 26, 2005 11:40 AM
Be still my heart. 114 is actually a full-fleged bouncing baby corpse. The labor was so long, I was beginning to think a cesarian would be necessary.
Sein und Zeit, I agree with you. I am flabberghasted that my subtle theme (more theme in my title than in my artwork) somehow telegraphed through to Shelly. When we get posts to do, we get odd names given to us like "kite tumor eyeball violence" or "marble magritte cat rocket" for posting our slice, but I just checked and these names have no relation to the corpse title. Shelly, how did you know to go Alice in this?
BTW, great job all. I love how my daughter's hair turns into milk.

Bill, if you go around smashing butterflies, you may change the future irrevocably.
Fiddler at July 26, 2005 12:13 PM
This is lovely. Great colors and feel to it. Good work, everyone!
Miss Daze at July 26, 2005 12:42 PM
In order for Bill to change the future requires a set outcome implying a determined universe and therefore unmalleable.
Again, nice corpse.

I had a picture of the Walrus and the Carpenter lying around that I've been dying to use in a corpse. When I turned (what turned out to be)the hair into a milk glass, I didn't know what to do next to it. For a while I almost put a tree there - but it looked so lame. Then I remembered my Walrus and Carpenter image - I stuck it in there to see if it'd fit, and it did - so I used it!
Honest, I swear - it's just a freakishly weird coincidence that happened - same thing happened with the doggy corpse (155).
But THANK GOD this is finally done! I've been waiting *forever* to see how it turned out! Now I know that the white "pouf" was rocks - I thought it was some kind of cloud - wish I had dragged that down instead of fuzzed it out - I can definitely see where Fiddler's ends and mine starts! Bad transition, Shelly - bad! I should be spanked! (Still like it, though!)
Shelly at July 26, 2005 7:09 PM
(I'm not saying you need one.)
ooo can I give the spanking please!? and after the spanking the...
Sein und Zeit at July 26, 2005 9:46 PM
You can't please everybody all the time I guess.
Bill Porter at July 27, 2005 12:24 AM
this is a corpse that was definately worth waiting for
some of the seams show a bit if you look closely but the colours and composition are great
