So dainty.
Nice blending, CerysCrow.

The last panel is a bit of a fresh prince, but taken as part of the whole it looks good.

Also, I like snacks.

Heroin McEcstacy at July 18, 2005 9:16 AM

Excellent. ('Nuff said.)

FogBaron at July 18, 2005 9:30 AM

ooh. purty!

tigergrrl at July 18, 2005 9:50 AM

Thanks.

I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. It's my second corpse (first one not posted yet!), so I was really eager to see it completed. It seems like three of us were "vibing" something similar. The last panel doesn't mesh as well, but it's a nice panel in it's own right.

CerysCrow at July 18, 2005 10:23 AM

The last panel is a little bit like Monday Morning at the General Electric offices after a long, magical weekend in Arcadia or Storybook Land. But I kind of like the dissonance it provides. Nice work, everyone.

The last panel didn't happen to be life-alteringly appropriate, but it's not a fresh prince. John Lee wasn't given many clues, and he used them properly without a seam.

The whole thing looks pretty darn cool, and the last panel looks kinda like a reflective pool in the thumbnail.

Shae at July 18, 2005 11:19 AM

Shae, exactly. A Fresh Prince Maneuver involves completely abandoning the strip one was given; John Lee did just fine with what he had to go on.

I'm impressed (very speechless) at the diagonal column. And the apple drip.. gush!

I am the Fresh Prince expert here do not question my authority!

And I'm the first on in, last one out tha club.

Heroine McEcstacy at July 18, 2005 7:40 PM

Like the surrealism, nice.

I think I have a new favourite corpse.
Cerys and Ann look like they were working together on this one.
fantastic transitions.

wotty at July 19, 2005 12:15 AM

YAY! Tis finished...I wasn't at all sure what would come of what I gave BUT...I really like how it turnned out!

Summer at July 19, 2005 1:45 AM

really wonderful. I like the whole corpse.

jaynedarcy at July 19, 2005 2:52 AM

GE's current slogan is "imagination at work". Coincidence? I think not.

FogBaron at July 19, 2005 9:07 AM

Just noticed that the upper right looks like a Dali-esque face in the thumbnail... mountains are eyes, woman with pie is mouth & chin...

Shae at July 20, 2005 12:16 AM

For the most part this has a fairytale quality to it. Summer set the mood with her lovely panel.

Miss Daze at July 20, 2005 2:49 PM

Fresh Prince? Bollocks.

The transition is actually fairly strong, and the thematic differences only add to the overall effect of the corpse.
