Hear Hear! I approve.

I had to giggle at the way bdonohoe continued the chin on my light blue head...looks kind of Ancient Egyptian fake beard...or maybe it's just a bad goiter.

I like the way the lime green is carried throughout, as is the blue violet, even unknowingly in the mountain in mattb's last piece.

Zebras: the original bar-coded wildlife...

Great job, all!

FogBaron at June 7, 2005 8:02 AM

Let's hear it for light blue Hatshepsuts!
Those glowy blue bits don't look super Corpsible.

It's kind of hard to look at the third panel, with its Beep... and shadowy something and loopy barbed wire scribbles and something and clay pigeons or shuffleboard pucks, but those are so nicely resolved into what looks like perfect solid-dog-food-can-contents deployed upon the Clones of the Serengeti.

Jessica at June 7, 2005 8:19 AM

Solid dog-food can contents? Hmmm.... I suppose, now that you mention it. I thought they was shotgun shells, meself.

Whirr at June 7, 2005 9:46 AM

used 9mm bullets (rendered in 3d max) but close

the text is hard to read coz I wanted to put it in but not have it as the main focus of the panel.
check the title of my slice for the 3 words in the middle of the text

mattb's transition from my slice is amazing as I didn't really leave a lot to work with apart from vertical lines and a background colour and I'm a lot happier with my transition from bdonohoe's slice than I was with my previous contribution.

not bad for my 2nd corpse but still a lot more to learn (forgot to include any anatomical references or stars ;) )

I like the use of background color throughout. It looks like an old Zeppelin gig poster if you stand far away. Over the hills and far away, in fact.

Those are not shotgun shells or 9mm bullets or any weaponry of the sort. If you look closely, it plainly says "Halloween-flavored beer" on the side of the can. :-)

mattb at June 7, 2005 11:06 AM

But - but - but - but - I can't have a poster?

jacob at June 7, 2005 8:31 PM

the mountain's color in the last panel is amazing. psychic... or does someone know more than they should? I guess I will never know, but it's a very good piece anyhow. Most impressed with the first and last panels.

oh, yes...this is great! Just who is pulling who's strings?!

I sure hope that's not Heinekin being dumped on the left there or someone's gonna get one of those scary visits from Ray Liotta!
