Monkey with the wooden bird-foot disturbs me...

FogBaron at June 16, 2005 9:14 AM

Brick Path turning into Giraffe -- good play, Doc! Somewhat disturbing, but, good.

Nate at June 16, 2005 9:30 AM

Holy crap! This is beautiful and looks like it was done by one painter.

Shae at June 16, 2005 9:34 AM

Wow, I'm just a corpsing fool - two posted in one day! I'm going to get spoiled.

I love the punks sitting on top of my fortress. hee hee

Good follow through on doctormatt's part, I gave him/her a bit of task, I think.

Miss Daze at June 16, 2005 9:50 AM

LOVE the giraffe-path. so much.

me at June 16, 2005 11:36 AM

I went back and forth: brick thing? giraffe? I'm glad I decided on the "wrong" thing. Thanks, Miss Daze, for the grass: I'm now a lot more familiar with Gimp's clone tool.

Good work Greenviolet. I love the vertical black lines that echo the little giraffe legs, and the shimmery mirror image horsey reflection.

doctormatt at June 16, 2005 11:44 AM

The thin straight black lines make me think of spears thrown (but missed) at the giraffes.

FogBaron at June 16, 2005 5:51 PM

Oh, wow...a giraffe path! Awesome! There is wonderful flow here and the muted colours work so well with the fiery ceiling.

Who is the serene lady with the horsie spirit, greenviolet???

Dax at June 16, 2005 7:27 PM

tis lovely. :)

looks like a book or magazine illustration.

hasfurrychildren at June 16, 2005 7:46 PM

definately a book illustration
from a good book of childrens stories and rhymes

wotty at June 16, 2005 9:29 PM

nice work. who is the female in the last panel? Looks familiar.

Bill Porter at June 16, 2005 10:31 PM

Would anyone want to ask those punks for the Holy Grail back?

Great corpse all, very good flow. Also wondering about that woman in the last panel... vague Yoko feel from her.

D at June 17, 2005 3:50 AM

I'm astonished how well this works as a bizarre landscape. My third corpse and favourite to date. I kept thinking doctormatt's trailing black things were chromosome pairs.
Where the horse et al came from I don't know, except that this corpsing is great psychotherapy.
BTW, woman is historical image probably from Dover or some such. Love the classic 'bored art model' look on her face.

greenviolet at June 17, 2005 7:18 AM

i can't stop looking at this one! i keep coming back to it-it just -for lack of a better word- pleases me! the colors are absolutely beautiful and the whole brushstroky oil paintingy feel is oh so cozy! i can't wait to steal ideas from this one! >; )

Seriously, D. They fart in our general direction.
What a fantastic last panel!
