The little duck has nothing to say because his mother is dead and he's suicidal.

Suicide is a statement! From nobody to Nobody.

The birthday pugsnake is freaking me out. Love the title, though.
Corpsers sure go for the eyes a lot.

I for one like our eyeball overlords...
Seems that since we can not see the rest of the slice during creation, the addition of eyeballs is a manifestation of the artists desire to see what they are working with.
+ Plus.... as an extra bonus... eyeballs are creepy :)

looks like the eyeballs have fallen down from the eyeless face above. i think it's just ducky.

*squint* is that a french bulldog? if so, that's the second I've seen in a corpse. They'll be on the list too eventually...

Actually, the duck with the empty balloon over his head was a commentary on the "too many words" critique I've often seen here (in one case where four panels contained a total of four words ... "too many words!").
So the duck said nothing.

this was my first participation in a corpse, and eye am very pleased with the results. eye think its BEAUTIFUL!
can't wait for the next one. everyone really made nice efforts to continue that background color, they don't look like completely seperate pieces which is awesome.
sarah eye at June 4, 2005 9:54 AM
Reid all the words are in one piece, there really arent a lot. I really dig the top piece
jmarigold7 at June 4, 2005 10:33 PM
No, the duck was a comment on the frequent comment "too many words"; he's not saying there's too many words on this one.
