Yeah yeah yeah, you all hate me because I had to wimp out. Darn the working class!
...but I have to say this is a little scary.

Is this the first time a Corpser has appeared in a section? No.
First time in a section they didn't do? Yes.
Very nice work, all. I love that the white line coming off Leonie's section reappears in GeekMan's as lightening. And all the fedora'd men...fabulous.

Nice flow guys. I think this is the best corpse I've seen that has transitions which aren't directly trying to turn something from one panel into the something from the next panel. Wait, does that make sense? Do you get what I mean? The transitions here are very solid - not seamless the way we always try to make them, and yet this one really works with them like that. It's a great corpse, very different from the other great corpses.
And the thing that intrigues me the most is that there are only TWO toes there... what happened to the others? Should there be at least one more on the left? Was someone playing with knives? Creepy.

In case no one picks up on this: ALL of the images used for the last section were stolen from lay-c's websites/photos ... the tiles, leaf, face, toe, illustrations, lightning, text ... everything.

I noticed.

What fun - have we entered a new phase in corpsing? The era of the in joke...
mirla at July 22, 2002 9:42 PM
very noir.
traevore at July 22, 2002 10:32 PM
please don't get too self-referential - it kind of closes down the meaning and takes away some of teh enjoyment of teh corpse...
trooperthornton at July 25, 2002 7:32 AM
Self-referential? I didn't do that.
lacey at July 26, 2002 10:55 AM
I think he meant self-referential as a group. You know, in-jokes and stuff. Pancakes on MetaFilter, for instance.

First this guy goes psycho and then he sings in the rain. That's almost too logical.
