Wow. This one is emotional and strange, very personal. I love the title.

Shots of pink in all that monochrome - arresting. The scissors slashing the man's breast. Not being much of a pill-popper myself (not that I think you are Brandon), I don't know what those particular pills are for, but the kitties seem as sad about them as the baby over his heart. It's lovely and disturbing, with it's children's illustration-ish feel producing somewhat un-light subject matter.

Every panel has something to say, and is saying it as clearly as can be. "read this text," "hey, read me!" "no, really: I'm so frustrated I'm going to cry big pink tears," "if I have to scream it, I will!"

Wow - we started this one how long ago? December? Cool to see it finally finished. I love the undercurrents of delicate self-destruction - the shears and the fabric and all of that stuff - the raging cat and the pink tear from the kitty statue.... The pills are Depakote - thanks " " - which are used to treat three different but similar sorts of self-destructive disorders: epilepsy, migranes, and bipolar disorder. So, it's wierd to see the concept of self-destruction and fragility introduced in the first panel, this sort of defense against that erected in the second, this child-like emotional quivering starting in the second but really taking shape in the third, and then a sort of raging commentary - on the battle won, the battle lost, or is the cat somehow the battle itself - in panel four. Alarming, but very, very cool.

alternate title suggestion: "Cat Scratch Fever" =) Although the present title is more than sufficient. It's almost a perfect sentence.
