Muad'Dib, Suzanne, Mirla and Jason

That is one weird dog, Suzanne. It's also amazing how well Dali's pinky worked between panels. Jason's panel reminds me of the Disintigration (the Cure) cover.

Nice corpsing people.

Oooh, this is one of the most graphically strong Corpses we've had in a long time. A definite example of why sometimes less is more.

I loved the slice Suzanne sent. Except I thought that animal was a Sesame Street letter of some kind - a lower case "e" or some such.

Kudos to Jason for bringing back all the violets and even a hint of the golds in his hidden sun (which echoes the Dune Lord's setting sun in the top panel). Also, thank you for explaining the pained look on my climber's face - I knew the monster of the deep had got his leg...

Minimal. Striking. Titled well.

My sentiments upon first viewing it were almost identical to that of Amanda. It's both minimalistic and detailed. The images sort of hit one upside the head. If you removed "by a" the title is almost a full sentence. Nicely done.

Whee! Wow, I really love what you did with it Mirla! That's a great segue. heh.

The dog and I have been together for years. This is his first digital incarnation, though. Go dog!

I was totally thrown by what appears to be a diver (?) in the first panel. Totally. I stared at that for five days before moving on it. And I did not know that was a hand! Yikes!

I really like the inverse suns in the last panel, too. And the strong purply colour came back, too.

That's really quite eerie when that happens.

This is my first EQ and I am delighted with the results. Being on top, I thought it might be interesting to not fill the space all the way to the upper boundary with too much stuff. I didn't expect the rest to be so minimal, but I really like how it turned out.

The repetition of faces peering out at the viewer is also a nice bit of serendipity. I should piont out, though, that the first face is Vincent Price, not Dali. :-)

I like the fact that it looks like something splitting open and the dog clinging on to the upper protion with his teeth and the guys leg getting stretched as he dangles from the dogs tail.

The minimalistic aspect is a markedly nice change & the seams are completely invisible, except for the wee-est tiny hint between the 3rd & 4th panels. Very nice.

Great continuity in color schemes! This is one of my favorites.
