This one has a really great Early-80's-trying-to-do-a-50's-Outer-Space-Movie feel. (Or should I just say "Mars Attacks"?)
You've got the hordes of alien troops and their home system at the top, the unlikely hero next (a journalist covering the story of aliens landing), world chaos as the aliens disrupt our communications network, and then the mandatory "point to the sky, scream, and run away" shot at the end. I love it!

Alcohol and acid trip, I think. I just adore the flow between the last two panels, though the whole thing displays a remarkable cohesion. Is Deborah's panel very short, or am I on an *acid trip*?

Ok, so I see the following story:
Having bled the Earth dry, all races are forced to flee to space where they invade a distant galaxy and the whole cycle repeats itself. The horror shot at the end depicts a prophet wearing "truth goggles" and the dawning realization that our exploitative nature is inescapable...
Loving the way the colour contrast of yellow and purple flows through the segments. Well done folks!

Mirla is right, Deborah's strip is about 10px too short. The strip I worked from had a complete sphere, it was not flattened at the bottom.
All the same I am pleased how this turned out, it amazes me how well these things come together in the end.

David - I recommend you send the strip Deborah sent you to Phineas. It's possible that Deborah mistakenly lopped it off the panel before she sent it to him, not realizing it was supposed to stay attached.
It's also perfectly possible that I don't know what I'm talking about...

I love the self-referencing! The Photoshop "slice2" bit...

Hi all, I just measured my strip and it comes to 185 pixels tall and that is after I cut off the bottom 15 pixels to send to the next person. Am I doing something wrong? You get the strip you work in a 200 pixel area when you are finished you cut off 15 pixels off the bottom and send it to the next person, that is what I have done on all my corpes I have done. If you look at 0036 which I worked on my strip is the same size. So maybe I have been doing this wrong the whole time, or you are not seeing where the first panel ends and mine begins.
I really love the way this one came out.

Mirla,
I don't think you are supposed to leave the bottom 15 pixels of the strip that you send to the next person on your original strip because then the corpse would not be seamless, so the bottom 15 pixels go to the next person to add on to and then it is put togehter seamlessly. Does that make sense ;-) I hope so LOL!!!

No, Deborah, you send the next person the bottom 15px strip from your section, but you send it to Corpse Central with that strip intact. The next person is specifically not supposed to include the strip they received as part of their section, so if you don't include it in your submission, it disappears.
So, please send Phineas the strip you sent David so he can add it back in.

I already did.
Sorry about that guys. I guess I messed up the corpse. I totally misunderstood the directions. Is it ok to include the portion someone sends you at the top of your piece? because I have been doing that too. Oh I feel so stupid, and I'm not a stupid person. Hey Phineas why didn't you tell me I was doing it wrong?

No, don't feel stupid. I've been attaching the strip I received to the top of my section, too. Phineas just cuts it off (although I think he's getting touchy about it). And considering what you thought the rules were, your strategy makes perfect sense.
Anyway, nice piece, and a great job everyone.

Um...what Andrew said (thanks).
(I didn't know people were attaching the strip they got to their finished panel. I lop it off after I use it, and only send my own 200 px.)
Don't feel bad, D. Your panel looks great, as does your first contribution. Sorry I opened a can of worms!
