Best. Title. Ever!

And Angel is the master of transitioning. Gorgeous work.

Oh, my, god, I am so HAPPY!!!
This is my first corpse ever, and I was terrified I'd mess it up. My biggest concern was the transition, but it turned out so nicely I'm overjoyed!
And I too love the title. This is a great first experience in the world of exquisite corpes'!
I can't wait till my next one!! YAY!!!!

I am ever glad that I got ang into this. It is obvious she is going to be a great corpser.

At first the not so subtle seams were a little distracting for me but once I really looked at the thing as a whole, the fact that all the symbolism in the overall peice comes together so well made up for that. Now I find it stunning. This was my first corpse as well and it was a lot of fun. Looking forward to more...

I really like the woman on the left - her demeanor, the successful choice to continue the black bit from the left side of the 1st panel as her hair - a nice surprise I bet, and the continuation of sleeve and bodice into the 3rd.

Anyone else notice that there's a sort of glow in each contribution? The pickup of the neon green from the 1st to the 3rd is remarkable.

This was my first corpse, as well, and I can see where I blew it. I think that Angel is gifted in the art of transition. In fact, I'm quite inspired. Can't wait for the next corpse.

Everybody did a stellar job here. The imagery and skill is top notch.

Sheri: I don't think you blew it at all. Your slice is lovely... I am really digging on the religious symbolism of the mass juxtaposed against that of the sadness of Magdalena. You did a great job.

You are all to be congratulated on a most overwhelming and breathtaking corpse.. the transitioning is exquisite. I caught the same glow that miria mentioned carried forward in each and it was the connector for me at least. Again well done and so very proud of you all. Angel.. i knew you could do it and oh so very well done it is. Now how do i learn to be patient for the next one?

Thank you, Anathema :) So did you. We have an interesting relationship in our panels in their mystical subject matter.

Thanks to you, too, verity. I'm now learning that the connections between the panels aren't only in the physical transitions (ie lack of visible seams) but also in the imagery/language, subject matter, hue, tone, and so on.

Okay, sorry to post again, but something that just struck me about the panels... I'm seeing a humanistic chronology:

Anathema (1): Mysticism
Sheri (2): Religion
Angel (3): Science/Enlightenment
John (4): Digital Age

Okay, I'm thinking too much.

Oh no, Sheri, that's exactly it - 'getting' the kernel of whatever from a mere 15px of someone else's work and somehow transmitting the spark to the next person in your own final 15px. It's just far enough removed from any conscious addressing of that subconscious message that the kernel gets through w/o being bogged down by the language of actual whole imagery.
Either that or there was something really special on my breakfast cereal this morning.
