oh my gosh! It looks all handmade and organic and stuff! what a fabulous corpse, indeed!
It's all about faces and expressions - non-topical, but unified....nice!

I like how there are hand-drawn parts throughout. Also a very nice title...

Nice galactic imagery throughout -- the sun, the moon, the planets, the star on the jack-in-the-box, and of course the word "ROCK."

Wow - this has turned out very differently than I had expected. I'm thrilled to see that a thread of playfulness is present throughout the image - it's cool to see that all of it feels handmade.

And another excellent title, I note.

That third section is so marvelously...empty. It gives a great sense of depth to the corpse.

This is a great Corpse! From color to colorless and back, it all flows so nicely.
I think I'm jealous.

I really like the handmade feeling - how did you do it? Scanned paper originals or programs like Painter?

My section (#3) is all photoshop. I took a photo of clouds, duotoned it and brought in what looked like paper tears and doodles down into the creases in the clouds, and for fun put in a sun.
Can't vouch for anyone else, butit looks like we've got several real-world mediums going on here.

Everything I did (#1) was hand-painted in guache on bristol board. Which is probably why it took so freaking long. The image is about 10" x 6" and I spent several evenings solid just painting away, then I scanned the sucker in and reduced/cropped in Photoshop - which is the only "digital" manipulation the image went through. Obviously, I'm happiest with the Sun... Saturn still leaves something to be desired in my mind, but in the grand scheme (corpse) of things, I guess it isn't such a big deal.

When I first started participating here, the apparent lack of unity between panes kinda irked me--I had in mind something much more like the namesakes of this project: the implied theme being a 'corpse' (head, torso, legs, feet).
However, I've come to realize that there's something quite amazingly subconsious going on here. More often than not, there is a lot of common imagery between the artists.
Neat O.

Brandon, your section is great - did you paint that specifically for this corpse?
Some of the digital work has been great, but I'd love to see more experimenting with different media and techniques. I think the combination of digital and "tradional" art really adds to the corpses.

The title, on top of everything everyone's already said, simply shouts collective consciousness. It's a fabulous corpse.

Susan,
Yeah - I did paint the panel specifically for this corpse. I thought it would be neat to start out with a "head" image - the sun... and kind of play with this whimsical notion of creation... The sun being the cosmic source, and all of that lot. I figured it would be interesting, at least, to see what flowed from that 'source.'
glad you liked it

hey! this one got snuck up! i didn't even know....it IS cool and very handmade looking. very different. as far as how: i used some of my photos of graffiti and then tried to make some kind of flow with the bit i had that appeared to be rays of some kind and then added some more friday nite graffiti of my own. it was simple and sweet. i was in trouble because i had taken FOREVER to get done....
