Wow, comes across like a commentary on the damage done by our need to go faster and the creation of machines which help us do just that. The image of the slug (snail?) and the horse both suggest that things were much slower once. And the last panel sort of touches on the fanaticism people feel towards their cars. All hail the automobile! Yikes! So much to read into this one. good job everyone.

I really hated my panel when I did it. It was very late, the night before I was going on holiday. I knew I had to get up at six, and I'd just thrown up. Twice. And then I remembered I still had to complete this corpse and so I sat down, completely uninspired, and did it.
You know, now I don't mind it so much - I think it actually does sort of fit with the rest of the piece... I especially like the recurring road motif. Good stuff, everyone!

yes the road to the road to nowhere...heh heh
from bottom to top I read it as a lifestyle of party in which drinking and driving is encouraged is a path that leads you down to the road to nowhere usually ending in a disaster.
wow!
and Meg out of apathy comes a beginning.

I see, like, ten roads in this corpse. Anyone else? Seriously... look at it. A lot of roads. It's very Robert Frosty, I think. But maybe not.
I like it, though. I want to be on the road to nowhere.

The transportation theme is interesting. The background of my panel consists of an aerial map (roads) and also has bicycles faintly overlaid.
I'm a little disappointed with the transitions, though. Comparing this one to other corpses, you can definitely see where the different panels begin and end. However, I know that picking up where someone left off can be the most difficult part of these.
