And here we have an example of Corpse as group therapy. You guys did a great job, but...do you want to talk about what's troubling you?

Any chance we can bump the last two a pixel closer together, or was the white line intentional?

Great job, guys! I love the butt->spiral...

Ah, very nice. I love the dripping transition. I had thought about doing something similar, but lacked the Photoshop skills to pull it off.

This one flows very nicely. Everyone seems to be using the same general style of photgraphy/collage/text. This seems to make for more seamless transitions than when you have one that differes stylistically (i.e. a collage", then a "cartoon", then a drawing, etc . Not to say that some of those corpses aren't great.)

Amazing : I'd be tempted to say the second section doesn't follow from the first. But Phineas' fellow looks OK cut off at the shoulders, and the text flows into Thomas' piece - so it does indeed "work" in a nontraditional fashion.

You know I'm born to lose, and gambling's for fools,

but that's the way I like it baby,

I don't wanna live for ever,

and don't forget the joker!

So I suppose no one but me is going to mention Motorhead as the underlying theme of the piece.

We have the 'Ace of Spades', 'Crazy Like A Fox', 'Shoot you in the back', 'Motorhead', and 'Sweet Revenge'. I would have included 'White line fever', but you took the white line out. I can't believe I am the only one who caught this...hehe

And while I imagined the white line was probably a mistake, I thought it looked good. Looked a bit like a strike-through.

Excellent work guys. I don't mean to do the usual love-fest thing, but this is one of my favourites. The last three sections could be a poster or advertisement. Although thinking about what for gives me goosebumps.

No, I think his hips were wider.

The appeal of the last three panels with the delightful flame-torso-spiral transition should not obscure the wonderful resonances between the first two panels and their interaction with the rest. Men with mustaches, dogs, arrows; I want a poster so I can read the words. Do the hands belong to the lower torso? How do the eyes and torsos relate? Great job!

this did turn out well. for what it's worth the guy in my piece is ted hughes and the text is a verse from one of his poems.

Wow, Ted Hughes! That explains the tension between the upper and lower sections. A "bell jar" is a vessel used to display fragile objects or establish a controlled environment.

Gosh, I think this looks just plain swell :)

Jpoulous: Yes, that is Bela Lugosi...not quite sure why I picked that, but hey, I did, and I think it ended up looking pretty darn ok.

I dig it, thanks to all who took part in this one and those who commented on it, too.
