This one is pretty. I love the way the colors work... from very dark to very bright. It's kind of an analogy to the way life goes. Way dark and depressing and then way bright and colorful. I really dig the first one. Night the beloved... I love the night.

So lovely! I tried to show what might be going on underneath what I imagined Andrew's slice might be, using the whole carp/flaming pearl thing as my version of the death and rebirth that seems to be going on all over this one.
Cherish, that image is so foreboding while nurturing. Mm, primal. Woo!
They're all beautiful.

WOW! I have been waiting so long to see this one assembled! From the slice I had there was very little color, I wanted to throw in some color. My palette tends to be the contrasting colors of blue hues and earth tone hues, I am glad to see the warm orangy hues I contibuted get more vibrant as the piece evolved, and I am thrilled to see the complimentary cools follow through as well. The purple leafy texture in Andrews piece to me really relates to Joes catalyst piece and I love the balance of the blue pearls in Jessica's contribution to the pentagonal lensflare things in Joe's.

My piece is a photo collage of a photo I took, the main subject is a female navel that has a cat's cradle string form held against it. I mirrored it and it kind of created a eye. Juxtaposed beneath Vic's angel it reads almost as a God's eye symbol.

I am pretty happy with this piece. Great job all!

Heh @ Jessica's Devil Doll! So that's Vic's Candy Angel?

what i love is reading the comments, and how everyone sees things that i missed. then i have to go back and look again, and again, and learn to see all over again.

The three center pieces seem to be one piece, great transitions and a really nice flow, the top and the bottom pieces create sort of endcaps to the piece, because they don't transition as nicely which is a nice balance actually, I think if there is going to be an obvious set of image transitions those are the best places to have them.

To me this is a Heaven Hell/Creation piece.

Nice Folks, Nice.

Neat how the same purplish-blue from Joe's section shows up in each of the subsequent.

I'm glad my section flowed so well with Cherish's -- considering the slice I got was mostly amorphous color, it matched up pretty well!

I know, sorry about the amorphous color, the slice I got was amorphous neutral monotone-ness, heh heh.

I think you did a fine job!

I am surprised no one has mentioned the way that the colorful telephone cord thing in Cherish's piece look like waves, which make the koi in Andrew's piece actually look as though they are below the surface of the water. That's amazing!! The more I look at this one the more I like it.

i agree with shazbutt on how the three middle pieces flow into one.. cherish and andrew did great jobs there! i'm especially impressed by the floor morph by cherish.. it fits in so well. also, i think my angel fitted in with the text in joe's piece... but i should have done the walls darker.. jessica's surreal look completes it to make it one of my favourite pieces (:
