_Great_ title, kids!

I must say, any corpse that iincludes a cat is a friend of mine.

I'm also greatly amused to see that Teresa and I used the exact same transition on that weird green pattern on the right-hand side of the Corpse.

From Scott's slice, I was positive that the end of the cat's paw was the bottom of a bearded face on an ancient statue - what a nice surprise to find the cat! Is she yours, Scott? I also like how Jima's repetition of a background wall detail created the bamboo stalk... and it seems that his smiling lady could be a face-forward, modern version of my sitting lady. Lots of fun; thanks everybody.

I ike this a lot. Damon's psychic use of color is huge. The tumbling guy and the broken tower is also a good echo. A great piece to contemplate at this time of this year; thanks.

I'm frighteningly certain that Jima's smiling lady is Tammy Faye Baker.

eek.

fun corpse, everyone - good color and pattern...it's nice to see something chaotic and whimsical.

i was aggravated by the section of the slice i received; i had a hard time finding a way to work with those shapes (with one veering off of parallel from the other). after i'd finished the slice, though, i had a flash that told me that the falling figure (actaully a breakdancer) would fit in well. i thought maybe he'd be at the end of chopsticks.

and contrary to kermit d. frog's lament, it looks like it's easy to be green. and the same hue, at that... crazy, man, crazy!

You all: this is so...Filipino. Teresa's brilliant solution to the conundrum of the green patterned element looks like a batik bedspread. Bamboo, tropical flowers, Catholic icons, the woman who could be Imelda Marcos, who then makes a psychic reappearance in Jima's panel. It's eerie, really.
