An Exquisite Corpse is becoming a tempest in a teacup -- or, in this case, a jumble of imagery from a trio of Coke bottles.

Interesting how the visual and verbal language of commerce show up throughout this corpse: models in formal wear, bar codes and, literally, a commercial for Coke mingle with artistic expressions Rennaisance and Outsider. The real thing, indeed. Good job, y'all.

Worth noting that I did the top slice a week or two before 9/11. No intentional symbolism there, though what does intent really have to do with perception?

Wow, I had almost forgotten this one. The best part is always seeing them come together. I'm sure this has been said, but these corpses are much like Rorschach ink blots. Everyone sees something different depending on mood, sleep level, timeframe, whatever. Take Kevin's slice for example: airplanes, rubble, doves (like souls), business man with face smudged out, those words. Today I see death, two months ago, probably divorce.

Briiliant! OK, maybe I am biased - it is tough not to be biased towards on you worked on yourself. But I see . . .(from the bottom) birth, childhood, adolesence/young adulthood (aye that'd be me), aging, and afterlife. Graffitti, lesbian erotica, drugs, commerce, God, death...this is a corpse.

Wow, Caroline. I'm so happy that what I thought was a neat, elegant letter turned out to be so explosive, graffiti-like. I feel justified...!
